Chapel Hill Senior Living Hosts a Sneak Peek Event for its Newly Constructed Memory Care Neighborhood on August 14, 2019

Chapel Hill Senior Living (Chapel Hill), a Meridian Senior Living community, is opening a new memory care neighborhood implementing Meridian Senior Living’s exclusive memory care program: Montessori Moments in Time™ (MMIT). Chapel Hill is pleased to host a free Sneak Peek event to showcase their exceptional memory care neighborhood on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 10 Old Diamond Hill Rd, in Cumberland, RI. Not only will visitors be able to tour the beautiful, newly constructed memory care neighborhood, but also meet the specially trained Chapel Hill staff and learn more about how MMIT can have a positive impact for those living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Furthermore, visitors can reserve an apartment for their loved one as the first residents will move in as early as late summer. Interested attendees should R.S.V.P. to chpl.mkt(at) or (401) 333-3393.

The goals of MMIT at Chapel Hill are to enhance living for those with memory challenges by using the five directional paths. Each directional path has the resident and family in mind to encourage independence and helps deal with the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. These paths include Family Connections, Health and Wellness, Dining Experience, Life Engagement, and Team Promise. Family Connections focus on the well-being of our families through social gatherings, volunteer opportunities, support, and education. Health and Wellness is based on providing satisfying experiences, promoting independence, and encouraging positive behavior while maintaining respect and dignity. The Dining Experience leverages meals as a time to reminisce, create new memories, maximize independence, and promote socializing, all in an inviting environment. Life Engagement includes scheduled programs that support the whole person allowing residents to function at their highest potential, giving them a sense of purpose and overall well-being. Team Promise focuses on developing care partnerships through ongoing education and training.

“When someone in the family has dementia, it changes everything,” states Sue Johnston, VP Program Development, Meridian Senior Living. “We understand the challenges you face and know that it is essential for you to have support, education, and an understanding of how important it is to take care of yourself.”

Chapel Hill Senior Living welcomes visitors to R.S.V.P. to this Sneak Peak event at chpl.mkt(at) or (401) 333-3393. For more information about Chapel Hill Senior Living, visit:
