Regency Palms Long Beach celebrated The Longest Day® on Tuesday, June 21st to raise awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
The Longest Day is a team event held annually on the summer solstice to support Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Including the most hours of daylight, this bright day symbolizes people across the globe fighting the darkness of Alzheimer’s through fundraising activities.
On The Longest Day, Regency Palms Long Beach, wore purple in support of the Alzheimer’s Association in conjunction with conducting fundraising activities that included a car show, sales of blueberry pies, scones, and muffins, wine with customized resident painting labels, blueberry hard lemonade, silent auction of resident paintings, and a taco truck. There were plenty of opportunities for vendor sponsorships as well.
Our community successfully raised $3,200!
