Cypress Awarded First Place for Retirement Home in The Ventura County Reporter

Cypress Place Senior Living, one of Ventura’s distinctive independent, assisted living, and memory care communities, announces its recognition of a first-place position in the Retirement Home category in the 35th Annual “Best of Ventura County 2020” awards. More than 450 businesses in Ventura County, CA representing 150 categories were recognized as award winners. To earn a coveted spot on the “Best of Ventura County 2020” list, VC Reporter readers responded to online polls for service providers they consider the best in their specific category.

“We’re incredibly pleased that Cypress Place has earned this coveted best-in-class award on VC Reporter’s “Best of Ventura County 2020” for Retirement Homes,” says Glen Cummins, Regional Director Operations at Meridian Senior Living.  “We are so proud of the amazing staff and how tirelessly they work to create a safe and active environment while delivering exceptional care that surpasses the expectations of their residents and families.”

Cypress Place Senior Living, operated by national senior housing company Meridian Senior Living, LLC, offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. The community features a wealth of amenities such as activity and game rooms, libraries, movie theaters, fitness centers, beauty salons, private dining rooms, landscaped gardens, and enclosed courtyards. Located at 1200 Cypress Point Lane in Ventura, CA, Cypress Place is open and admitting new residents for move-ins. In these times of isolation, it has been particularly difficult for older adults who may not have options to go out to obtain necessary items or connect with others as society reopens. The community offers active living: daily engaging and social activities, restaurant style meals, and the highest quality of care
