While it has been a challenging journey navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to reunite residents with friends and family as the state of Florida lifts its restrictions for visitation. On Monday, March 22, 2021, the Florida Department of Emergency Management signed an executive order to lift visitation mandates in long-term care facilities. State officials have loosened restrictions based on the high number of vaccinations in facilities and a 90% decline in COVID-19 cases in the past 60 days.
While our visitors are still required to undergo a screening process including temperature checks, screening questionnaires, and wearing surgical masks, all other visiting restrictions are lifted. Families and friends are no longer limited by group size or mandated to schedule an appointment to visit.
Our community will continue to implement safety best practices, policies, and procedures including strict infection protocols, staff training and education, testing, and adhering to relevant guidelines established by government health authorities.
We look forward to seeing you again!
