CUMBERLAND, RI (October x, 2024) – Chapel Hill Senior Living is delighted to announce a special celebration honoring WWII veteran Evelyn Fugere, who will be celebrating her 100th birthday. This significant milestone will be recognized in an event featuring Senator Jack Reed, Cumberland Mayor Jeff Mutter, and the Navy Northeast Band.
The celebration will begin at 1:45 PM in the front lobby, where Senator Reed and Mayor Mutter will present Evelyn with a special citation to commemorate her lifetime of service. Senator Reed will also extend personal birthday wishes to Evelyn before the celebration begins, ensuring he can participate before attending other engagements.
Following the citation presentation, the Navy Northeast Band will perform from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A birthday cake social will take place immediately afterward in the Great Room, where family, friends, and the community will gather to celebrate this incredible milestone in Evelyn’s life.
