Our residents experience an active social calendar led by our dedicated Life Enrichment Coordinator. An exciting daily schedule may start with a morning stretch, an afternoon at one of DC's history museums, followed by a lively discussion at the Book Club meeting, and then to the month's International Food Night featuring Chevy Chase House's own culinary team.

Continue pursuing your passions or take up a new hobby. With daily programming that stimulates the mind, body and soul, residents can experience a wide range of opportunities to nurture new friendships, learn new things, have fun and stay healthy.
Regular outings provide residents with a true city experience. Chevy Chase House is situated perfectly to allow for visits to DC, Virginia and Maryland cultural sites. Recently, residents have toured The Library of Congress, Smithsonian's National Zoo, Smithsonian American Art Museum, the U.S. Botanical Garden, Shenandoah National Park, Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard and enjoyed performances at Ford's Theatre, The Kennedy Center, and the Avalon Theatre.
In addition to local cultural sites, a portion of our programming involves regular guest speakers, book clubs, discussion and debate, music appreciation, computer games and skills, creative arts, and more.
