Worthington Manor Celebrates One Year Anniversary with Successful Car Show and Crawfish Boil Fundraiser
CONROE, TX – Worthington Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care hosted a memorable celebration of its first-year anniversary with the 1st Annual Car Show and Crawfish Boil on Saturday, April 22. The event was a huge success, attracting over 300 people who enjoyed 900 lbs. of delicious crawfish and a fantastic display of 40 classic cars.
“Our first-year anniversary celebration was a tremendous success, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to give back to the community through our 1st Annual Car Show and Crawfish Boil, said Megan Christopher, executive director. “It was a joy to see our residents, families, and friends come together to enjoy the festivities and support two great causes. We look forward to continuing to provide a warm and welcoming environment that creates meaningful experiences for all of our residents and their loved ones.”
The celebration was not just about having fun; it was also an opportunity to give back to the community. The event raised nearly $4000 for two great causes, The Validation Institute and The Walk to End Alzheimer's. Worthington Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care is proud to support these important organizations, and they extend their thanks to everyone who attended and contributed.
In addition to the delicious food and fantastic classic cars, guests enjoyed live music, face painting, ax throwing, and a bouncy house that kept the kids entertained. The event was a hit with residents, families, and the entire community. Cindy, from KSTAR radio, even made an appearance and got everyone excited about the festivities.
The highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, where the winners of various categories were announced. Attendees gathered at 1 pm to celebrate the Best Paint, Best Interior, People's Choice, and other awards, recognizing the excellence of the Worthington Manor community.
